Average real estate rental prices in the City of Buenos Aires rose 35% compared to one year ago, according to a new report summarizing average prices of residential properties.

Buenos Aires Real Estate Rental Prices: 2009-2015

The analysis from Reporte Inmobiliario traces the evolution of Buenos Aires real estate rental prices from August 2009 to August 2015. The report looks at the average price of two categories of residential properties: two-room and three-room units in typical residential buildings with a standard level of amenities. We summarize the six-year data in the graphs above.

The average rental price for a two-room unit in Buenos Aires was $3,994 pesos in August 2015, a 35% increase over the $2,961 pesos paid in August 2014. The average rental price paid for a three-room unit in Buenos Aires was $5,007 pesos in August 2015, a 35% increase over the $3,703 pesos paid in August 2014.

Measured in dollars, the average rental price paid for a two-room flat in Buenos Aires was $424 dollars in August 2015, while the average rental price paid for a three-room flat in Buenos Aires was $531. (Full Story in Spanish)
